Bird-Feeding Workshop at Laurelwood Arboretum

Do you love watching the birds gather ‘round a home feeding station?  Join Andrew and Joanne from The Backyard Birding Store to learn about Bird Feeding Basics on Wednesday, July 16th at 5:30 PM at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne.   They’ll cover everything you need to know, from choosing the right feeders and food for the birds you would like to attract to setting up your backyard for backyard birding.  They will also share tips for creating a bird-friendly habitat and managing challenges like squirrels and nuisance birds.  This session is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to take their backyard bird feeding to the next level.

The program is free, but registration is required at laurelwoodarboretum.org.

This program is sponsored by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, the non-profit volunteer organization that helps preserve and manage the 30-acre arboretum in partnership with Wayne Township.  Its mission is to preserve Laurelwood Arboretum as an oasis for the enjoyment of nature and to provide opportunities for environmental awareness through educational programs, community involvement and outreach activities.  Membership and donations support the park’s maintenance, operations and public programs.
