Outdoor volunteers work to maintain and beautify Laurelwood Arboretum. Some volunteers welcome visitors and serve as tour guides.
Work in the Gardens
Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon, April through October. Meet in the pavilion. Bring gloves, your favorite garden tools, and water. Work and learn while restoring and maintaining Laurelwood’s gardens.
Site Management and Construction
Work with the site manager and other volunteers to improve the arboretum’s bridges, buildings, drainage and infrastructure and help maintain our vehicles.

Weddings/Photo Shoots
Facilitate weddings and photo shoots at Laurelwood, as needed.
Winter Greenhouse Team
During the winter months, help grow plants for the plant sale, garden restoration, special display gardens and educational activities.
Scout Programs
Assist Girl and Boy Scout groups with merit badge programs and other outdoor activities.
