Tickets Now on Sale for Festival of Friends Raffle

Tickets are now on sale for Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum’s Festival of Friends Raffle. The raffle is a feature of the Festival, which celebrates the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of Laurelwood Arboretum. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Knippenberg Center for Education, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne, Tuesdays through Sundays, noon to 4 pm. The drawing will be held on September 14th during the Festival of Friends celebration. Purchasers of tickets need not be present to win. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to maintain and beautify Laurelwood Arboretum.

There are five exceptional raffle items, and purchasers may place tickets in one or all of the raffle boxes. The raffle items are:

2 Tickets to the Broadway hit Hamilton for Saturday, September 21 at 8 pm. Tickets: B9 and B11 in the third row of the Orchestra, left. Value $470.
$200 Gift Certificate for Novelli Restaurant, 2410 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne AND 2 bottles of 2 bottles of premier wine from GlenLyon Vineyards and Winery in Sonoma Valley, California. Value more than $300.
Trek Bicycle Model 820/19.5 Men’s Black (May be exchanged for a women’s or child’s). Value $400.
A 3-Part Garden Gift: Tree of your choice from Canete Landscape and Garden Center. Value $200 + planting consultation by Elaine Fogerty, Executive Director of Laurelwood Arboretum + 2 hours of planting and garden maintenance time by 12 Laurelwood volunteers.

The Festival of Friends will take place at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West, Wayne on Saturday, September 14 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. Tickets are $50 per person for members of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, $60 per person for nonmembers, and $75 per person at the door. Tickets can be ordered online.
