Douglas Tallamy To Speak At Laurelwood Arboretum

Tickets are now on sale for a special event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day—a talk by Douglas Tallamy, Professor of Entomolgy and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware and best-selling author of Bringing Nature Home. He will be the guest speaker at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive, Wayne on Sunday, April 19 at 2:30 pm.

Tallamy will discuss the dire consequences of habitat destruction and how individuals can help reverse this alarming trend by providing a welcoming environment for wildlife. The program is hosted by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum. Tickets are $30 for members of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum and $55 for non-members (includes a 1-year membership).
