July Exhibit at Laurelwood Features Local Artist

Where Light Meets Silence, acrylic paintings by local artist Elena Mironenko, will be on display at the Knippenberg Center at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne.  An Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, July 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.  The exhibit may also be viewed during regular Knippenberg Center hours, Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m.

“In my paintings, I explore the beauty of the natural world—from quiet forest paths to mountain peaks and blooming meadows,” said Mironenko.  “I draw inspiration from observing light, seasonal changes, and the harmony found in nature.  My work conveys calmness, stillness, and the quiet strength of the natural environment.”

Where Light Meets Silence is part of a monthly series of art and photography exhibits sponsored by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, the nonprofit organization that helps preserve and manage the 30-acre arboretum in partnership with Wayne Township.  For more information about this exhibit or other upcoming events, visit www.laurelwoodarboretum.org or email info@laurelwoodarboretum.org.
