Enjoy the many beautiful forms and colors of mum blooms when the New Jersey State Chrysanthemum Society returns to Laurelwood Arboretum. The Society’s judged Show will be free and open to the public on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 from 12 PM to 4 PM at the arboretum’s Knippenberg Center for Education, 725 Pines Lake Drive in Wayne. Visitors can learn how to grow and care for both garden and disbud mums at the education table.
The New Jersey State Chrysanthemum Society has been growing and showing mums for 67 years. They seek to increase interest in the culture of chrysanthemums and foster an understanding of the horticultural nature of these stunning blooms.
