GreenQuest Program Focuses on Wetlands

The upcoming GreenQuest program for students in grades 2 through 6 will be held on Wednesday, June 21 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive in Wayne.  The children will learn about wetland ecosystems and why they are beneficial to humans.  They will also walk around Laurelwood to investigate the arboretum’s ponds.  To register for the June program, go to  www.laurelwoodarboretum.org.  Registration is limited to 20 students. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

The free monthly GreenQuest programs are sponsored by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum and led by Aadhith Balaji, a junior at Wayne Hills High School.  He is a member of the Wayne Hills Environmental Club and led the 2022 GreenQuest Nature Club at the Wayne Public Library.
