Clethra ‘Ruby Spice’ is a lovely suckering deciduous shrub that fills the garden with summer fragrance! Pollinators love it and the leaves turn a golden yellow in autumn. One of the few shrubs that will still bloom in shade, although with fewer flowers. 4-6 feet tall, this plant slowly suckers to form a colony. Tolerates both dry and wet soils.
