Start Your Holiday Shopping Early at Laurelwood’s Holiday Craft Boutique

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the Holiday Craft Boutique, open for pre-season shopping from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23 at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West, Wayne.  Admission is free.  A shuttle from the Pines Lake School will be available to bring shoppers to the arboretum.

This year’s boutique will showcase unique, handcrafted items including jewelry, ceramics, wood crafts, hand-dyed scarves, holiday decorations, and more.  You’ll also find creative treasures handmade by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum volunteers, all affordably priced for easy gift giving. Don’t miss the daily raffle of festive holiday baskets.

The boutique will feature crafts by talented local artists, including Elyce Berenzweig with collage art, Amy Krenzer with pottery, Ritika Gandhi with hand-painted scarves, Winsome Apothecary with natural skincare products and MaryellenTanis and Kamala Anupindi with unique jewelry.

A highlight of this year’s Holiday Boutique is a sale of tropical plants and succulents from the Laurelwood propagation greenhouse—beautiful and unusual plants that will brighten any home and make perfect gifts.

Proceeds will benefit Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, sponsor of the Holiday Craft Boutique.  “Come and discover the pleasure of selecting beautiful handmade gifts for your friends and family,” said Ritika Gandhi, chairperson of the boutique.
