A first-ever Holiday Plant Sale will be featured during Laurelwood Arboretum’s Holiday Craft Boutique on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Knippenberg Center for Education, 725 Pines Lake Drive West, Wayne. Admission is free. A shuttle from the Pines Lake School will be available to bring shoppers to the arboretum.
Just a short walk from the Knippenberg Center, visitors will find Laurelwood’s Educational Greenhouse, where a selection of tropical and succulent plants will be offered at affordable prices. Choose from handsome ficus trees and an appealing variety of houseplants—beautiful and unusual specimens that will brighten your home for the holidays or make perfect gifts for family and friends.
The Holiday Plant Sale is a highlight of this year’s Holiday Craft Boutique, which will showcase unique, handcrafted items including jewelry, ceramics, wood crafts, hand-dyed scarves, holiday decorations, and more.
Proceeds from both the Holiday Plant Sale and the Craft Boutique will benefit Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, the volunteer nonprofit conservancy dedicated to preserving, promoting, and improving the park in partnership with Wayne Township. The organization is supported through membership dues, plant sales, donations, and fundraisers.
