Free Nature Program for Wayne Students

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum invites students in grades 2 through 6 to register for the GreenQuest Nature Club, a free environmentally themed program and activity held once a month through October, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.  All sessions will be held at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive in Wayne.

On June 21, students will learn about wetlands ecosystems and will walk through Laurelwood Arboretum to investigate the wetlands areas and ponds.  Each child must be accompanied by an adult. To register, go to www.laurelwoodarboretum.org .

The GreenQuest Nature Club is led by Aadhith Balaji, a junior at Wayne Hills High School.  He is a member of the Wayne Hills Environmental Club and led the 2022 GreenQuest Nature Club at the Wayne Public Library.
