Wayne Subaru donation — At the June 20th meeting of the Wayne Town Council, Subaru of America announced the donation of $2,004. to Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum for its participation in the company’s Share the Love event. Charles Moltane, Business Development Manager for Wayne Subaru, presented a facsimile of the check to Alice Moskowitz, President of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum. “This past winter was particularly harsh, and the arboretum suffered extensive damage,” Moskowitz said. “Many trees were toppled or severely damaged, and shrubs and other plantings were adversely impacted. This donation will be used to help restore the arboretum so that our visitors can once again fully enjoy its natural beauty.”

Donations to Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum help to support the garden’s maintenance, operations and public programs.
