Planting the Sensory Garden

Planting-the-Sensory-Garden
Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum volunteers began the annual task of replanting the Sensory Garden with plants that encourage the use of the five senses— touch, taste, smell, sight and sound. This unique space is designed with wide pathways and raised flower beds for easy access by visitors with physical handicaps. The Sensory Garden is located at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Road in Wayne. The park is open to the public free of charge daily from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting.
