Veterans’ Benefits Expert to Speak at Laurelwood Arboretum

Are you or your spouse a veteran? If so, you can learn about tax-free benefits that may be available to you. Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum and the Information Network on Aging (INOA) are sponsoring an informative free program, “Veterans’ Benefits Explained,” on Thursday, May 3 at 3 pm. The program will take place at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne. The public is welcome to attend.

Arthur Toole, who will present the program, is a veterans’ benefits specialist, with more than 10 years of experience guiding veterans and their families through the sometimes difficult and ever-changing maze of the Veterans Administration (VA). He will discuss some little-known benefits that are available for veterans and their spouses and strategies for navigating the VA.
