Volunteers Gather for First Work Day at Laurelwood Arboretum

Volunteer Kickoff — Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum volunteers, undeterred by dreary weather, gathered at the pavilion for the first work Tuesday of the season. Volunteers are welcome to work in the park any Tuesday or Friday from 9 am to 11:30 am, April through October. Individuals can drop in anytime and do not need to sign up in advance. They should bring water, small hand tools and gardening gloves if they have them. Groups are asked to call 973-831-5675 to make arrangements in advance.

Donations to Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum help to support the garden’s maintenance, operations and public programs.

Dues and donations are deductible for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law.
