Opening Reception for Art Exhibit at Laurelwood Arboretum

More than 60 visitors attended the reception for “Paintings at the Turn of the Century,” an exhibit of recent works by Pompton Lakes resident Prabha Sahasrabudhe, who is an artist, art teacher, art educator and dedicated arboretum volunteer (at the center of the photo, with microphone). The paintings will be on display at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne through October 22. The center will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12 noon to 4 pm. The exhibit is sponsored by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum as part of its ongoing ArtWorks program featuring works by local artists.
