Elaine Fogerty, Executive Director of Laurelwood Arboretum, will discuss how to grow Happy, Healthy Hydrangeas on Sunday, September 17 at 2 pm at the Knippenberg Center for Education, Laurelwood Arboretum 725 Pines Lake Drive East in Wayne. The program is free for members of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum and $15 for nonmembers.
Ms. Fogerty was formerly County Agricultural Assistant, Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Passaic County and has taught many Master Gardener classes. She has extensive horticultural expertise and experience overseeing the hydrangea collections at Laurelwood Arboretum. She will discuss how to promote good hydrangea health through proper placement, pruning and planting.
Prior to this educational program, Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum tour guides will offer free guided tours starting at 12:30 pm.
