The Annual Meeting of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) will be held on Sunday, November 6. at 2 p.m. in the Knippeberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Road West, Wayne. All FOLA members, as well as guests and members of the public, are invited to attend. Free guided tours of the arboretum will be available from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Alice Moskowitz, president of FOLA, will talk about this year’s accomplishments and will narrate a video that highlights the events of 2016. There will also be short presentations by FOLA committee chairpersons. FOLA members will then elect a slate of officers and members of the Board of Directors for 2017-2019. At the conclusion of the meeting, there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions and exchange ideas.
