Elaine Fogerty, Executive Director of Laurelwood Arboretum, talked to a group of more than 30 about the benefits of using native plants in their home landscapes. The program at the Knippenberg Center for Education was followed by a tour of the arboretum’s 600-square-foot Native Plant Demonstration Garden, which features plants that are native to New Jersey and are particularly well-suited to home landscapes in our region.
