For the second consecutive year, a volunteer crew of Columbia Bank employees spent an afternoon at Laurelwood Arboretum weeding, mulching, planting and helping to beautify the 30-acre park. “We were delighted to welcome this hardworking team,” said Elaine Fogerty, the arboretum’s executive director. “While we have a small staff to maintain Laurelwood Arboretum, we rely on volunteers to help improve, restore and beautify our public garden. On-site volunteer opportunities are every Tuesday and Friday mornings, 9 a.m. to noon, and we welcome individuals and groups.”
