The Annual Meeting of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) will be held on Monday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in the Wayne Public Library Meeting Room, 461 Valley Road, Wayne. All FOLA members, as well as guests and members of the public, are invited to attend.
Alice Moskowitz, president of FOLA, will talk about this year’s accomplishments and report on the completion of the Knippenberg Center for Education, the Educational Greenhouse and the Native Plant Demonstration Garden. Elaine Fogerty, Executive Director, will discuss the horticultural status of Laurelwood Arboretum and the work that has been done by the volunteers. There will also be short presentations by FOLA committee chairpersons. At the conclusion of the meeting, there will also be an opportunity for people to ask questions and exchange ideas.
