Englewinds, a popular musical ensemble, will return to Laurelwood Arboretum on Sunday, February 18 at 2:30 pm. (Snow date February 25) The free concert will take place at the Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne, NJ. Seating is limited, and registration is required at www.laurelwoodarboretum.org. The concert is sponsored by Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum, the Wayne Public Library and Bach to Rock Music School.
Englewinds is a woodwind quintet whose players are committed to exploring connections between music and nature. The group commissions and performs music to create environmental awareness. The ensemble has performed at venues that include the New York Historical Society, the New York Botanical Garden, the Ellis Island Museum, Mohonk Mountain House, Lambert Castle, Van Vleck House & Gardens, Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, and at colleges and universities throughout the Northeast.
