New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association District 1 Meeting at New Knippenberg Center

Russell Schubert, Wayne Township’s Director of Parks and Recreation, (at left) hosted a meeting of the New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association District 1 at the new Knippenberg Center for Education at Laurelwood Arboretum. Before and after the meeting, volunteers from Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) took guests on tours of the 30-acre park, which is owned by Wayne Township and managed by FOLA.

Tour of Laurelwood — Bonnie Joachim (at right) of Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum took several groups from the New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association District 1 on tours of Laurelwood aboard the park’s motorized vehicle.

Donations to Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum help to support the garden’s maintenance, operations and public programs.
